ABOUT US

Point-of-Care (POC) healthcare technologies is an essential module of affordable global healthcare and require unremitting evolution of innovation in computing, information and communication technologies. It is now more critical in the rapidly aging populations in across nations, to develop concerted efforts and synergies to reconnoiter POC health monitoring, assessment and therapeutic technologies to ominously influence global healthcare for the “well-being” of a healthy society.

Several technologies already having a huge impact on society will impact on healthcare too and will continue to grow in sophistication.

Early and accurate diagnosis of a disease is an immediate need in healthcare. The turnaround time required for clinicians should also be reduced. The low reproducibility of the image interpretation in the clinical routine and current practice opens room for the development of computational systems to assist clinicians in the diagnosis. Diagnostic accuracy determines success of intervention. The capacity for computers to aid the diagnostician and support in decision making is emergent.

Computer-aided detection (CADe), also called Computer-aided diagnosis (CADx), are procedures in medicine that assist doctors (with computer ‘learned’ expert opinion) in the rapid interpretation and diagnosis of medical images. CADx is a relatively young interdisciplinary technology combining elements of artificial intelligence and digital image analysis with radiological image processing, specifically with tremendous potential utility in limited experience/skill setting in the developing world. CADx software improves the sensitivity of the diagnostic process by pointing out diagnostic hypotheses that might be missed or delayed and can manage the volume of information in the diagnostic process.

Today healthcare research and technologies are centered on tailored clinical protocols (computer based pattern recognition-guided medical decision-making), education (competence-based, modular, and scalable training), sustainable human development strategies (cost-effective, equitable, organizational, and social business models- echoing the need for Advenio’s research and development activities “cad4globalhealth”.

Who We Are

Advenio is a team of technology led social entrepreneurs focused on technology equity in critical sectors. Advenio consists of a compact dynamic, highly skilled and motivated group mastered in solving critical challenges. Team members are of multifarious disciplines and international exposure having academic backgrounds from top-notch institutions and robust Industry experience. Advenio’s specialized focus is low-cost healthcare solutions

Technology

Our technology is centered on tailored clinical protocols, image analysis, computer based pattern recognition, guided medical decision-making, competence-based, modular, and scalable training, sustainable human development strategies, cost-effective, equitable, organizational, and social business models

Innovation

Our Innovation is vendor neutral CADx plug-in for rapid, consistent diagnosis of critically ill and infected patients in resource limited, high burden care emergency units. It has a significant impact on mitigating diagnostic uncertainty in interpretation, narrowing differential diagnosis and improving the specificity of early recognition of several acute infections.

THE MISSION STATEMENT

Advenio’s goal is to provide access to health monitoring and assessment technologies to people with limited or no healthcare facilities. Large developing nations with fast economic growth are committed to providing healthcare to all, but they still face major challenges in assessing rural and underserved patients’ healthcare needs and in providing them with timely quality healthcare at the point-of-care.

FEATURED PROJECT

UPCOMING PROJECTS

Our upcoming ventures in CADx endorses our commitments to create products that are truly invented for life; addressing pressing demand of affordable healthcare and combating insufficient resources
